= LEONG LI JING =

In this project, we are required to form a group of five or six members in total so lecturer decided to let students group in the same group as the group in project 1A. My group mates included Law Zhi Chang (Group Leader), Kimberley Fay, Ho Zi Yan, Lee Fei Syen, Joseph Soh and me.

 

The profession shall be different from project 1A (architect). So, we decided to choose QUANTITY SURVEYOR as the profession for project 1B.

There are two parts in this project which is interview and magazine.

For the first part (interview), we are required to find out the company profile, the profile of interviewee in construction industry, two projects involved by the interviewee, the roles and responsibilities in that particular projects, process and procedure and other relevant information.

 

We had decided to make an interview on Wednesday (2nd June) with interviewee at Pavilion which located at KL area at night. So, I drive along to there with two of my group mates which is Law Zhi Chang and Kimberley Fay. Zhi Chang was in-charge in recording video while Kimberley and me in-charge of the interview section. The interview ran smooth and we ended up with extras information that really benefits to us, especially me because the interviewee had told and taught me a lot about the knowledge and his experiences of the career in construction industry.

 

For the second part (magazine), we need to create a magazine that would demonstrate the understanding in the interview in part 1. The magazine should include the company profile, profile of interviewee, introduction of projects that interviewee work in, detailed description and explaination of roles and responsibilities in that particular projects. The magazine should be in an A5 sized, colored and printed with 8-12 pages in total.

 

With the fully teamwork of our group, we done the magazine in time. We are really satisfied as we really had a good teamwork and communication in both of the projects. We had a great time together throughout these two projects. All of us think that every single member had the same contribution to the projects given and paid the full responsibilities. I’m really happy and pleasured to have them as my group mates.
